Danièle Ryman is a recognised media global authority on aromatherapy and health and beauty. The Times of London, acknowledge Danièle as ‘the undisputed Queen of Aromatherapy.’
Danièle was born in Cahors, France and attended the Institute des Beaux Arts in Paris. She met and became the protégé of Marguerite Maury – the legendary pioneer of aromatherapy, working with Marguerite in both her Paris and London clinics.
Danièle has won numerous international industry awards for her work, as well as the coveted Courvoisier Award for the ‘Best Innovative Products’.
Her latest book: ‘Danièle Ryman’s Secrets of Youth & Beauty’ has just been launched internationally by Rodale/Pan Macmillan Publishing. Her books are printed in 17 languages.
Danièle is a regular television expert commentator on the UK TV shows, which include: Richard & Judy, The Wright Stuff and GMTV. She appears as a television guest/spokesperson on international programmes including the news and prime time programmes in the USA, Canada, Asia, Australia, China, New Zealand and European networks.
Her regular in-flight programme on ‘Wellbeing and travel’ is featured on a number of airlines. Danièle is a columnist for Compass Travel Magazine.
In the early 1980’s Danièle was the first to research and develop a range of natural products and treatments, to help passengers and airline crew members combat the effects of jetlag and travel fatigue, alleviating symptoms of dry pressurised cabin air and creating a general feeling of well-being. Focus was on research and treatment of both the in-flight and the arrival experiences.
Programmes and products were introduced to 15 of her airline clients including: British Airways (‘Well being in the Air’ programme), Virgin Atlantic, Malaysia Airlines, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa and Aero Mexico. Approximately 52 million passengers and airline crews have been ‘treated’ with Danièle’s products.
Danièle, the only skincare expert appointed by Boots the Chemist in the UK, introduced a premium range of aromatherapy anti-ageing and anti-cellulite, health and beauty products. She also was the only expert appointed by Marks & Spencer in the UK, to create a range of Aromacology health and beauty, body products, perfumes, candles, travel products and gift lines.
Danièle’s work reflects her research and development over many years. She undertakes this research and her writing, on her travels across the world, and in her laboratory centres in both London and France.
